Playskool Alphie

Playskool Alphipe has been around since the 80's and he has shaped the imagination and personality of millions of children so far. This beloved toy have now made a come back, as the lasted edition has been recently launched by Hasbro and it's proving to be as popular among kids as ever.

It has the ability to fully interact with the children by speaking to them in a unique electronic voice, which is not at all annoying for adults, on the contrary, many seem to find it soothing. This toy it's best suited for children aged between 3 and 5 as it mainly teaches about basic sounds, letters, numbers and basic maths. Kids aged 5 or more could find it too simple and then get bored quickly.

The Playskool Alphie Robot works by interacting with the kids with the help of some special double sided cards. There are several sets of cards, some of which don't come with the robot its self and must be purchased separately. Overall, the more cards you buy, the slower will your kid get border of this toy and the fun moments will last for longer.

When a card is inserted into a special slot on Alphies belly, then he goes ahead and asks different questions which are solved through the correct action performed by the child. These tasks of questions may include basic numbering, detecting the right shapes, learning alphabet letters etc.
